Thank You Cards - A good idea?

I have recently designed some Thank You cards for a friend. They are a little different from my usual designs as I also inserted a photograph to make them even more personal. These are a couple of templates of the design. You can see that there is a space in the middle where a photograph would go. I have added a couple of photographs of my two beautiful daughters in the purple one just to give you an idea of what they might look like. Obviously, the customer would send me the photograph(s) they want included. The back of the card is designed like a post card, with a space for a message and lines for a name and address. You can simply fill it in, stick on a stamp and post them as they are.  They are not available on my website yet as I am seeking some feedback first.

What do you think? A good idea?

About Me

Hi, my name is Suzanne Thomas and I am the founder and owner of The Bea's Knees And The Cat's Whiskers. This is the first news bulletin on my new website so I thought I would start off by giving a little bit of background information about me and my business.
As I am sure you are aware by now, I specialise in designing and producing bespoke, personalised typography artwork. The designs are finishd as museum standard canvas prints and high quality mounted or framed card prints. All of the designs are customisable - you are able to change all of the elements of the artwork, including words, phrases, and even colour schemes. This makes each design personal and unique to each customer. There are plenty of examples for you to browse through on this site, together with instructions on how you can configure and order your print.

I am thirty seven years old, married to my husband, Martin, and together, we have two beautiful daughters - Ursula Bea, who will be three years old this June, and Clara Belle, who is now eighteen months old. I was born and raised in London, which is where I studied Display And Exhibition Design. When I left college, I pursued a career in fashion retail and became a Visual Merchandising Manager. This experience, together with my studies has meant that I have developed a keen eye for elements that work well together. I am also quite the perfectionist!
Martin and I married in 2008 and we moved away from the South East, to our current home in Worcester. I gave up my sixteen year career in retail at the beginning of 2012, so that I could be a full time mum. Being at home gave me the incentive and time to realise one of my long term ambitions - to set up and run a business from home.
With my background and interests, I naturally began to develop ideas based around design. I taught myself how to use graphic design software and I dabbled with a couple of projects including designing and making some personalised artwork, thank you and gift cards. These received great feedback from friends and family and from there, the business idea was born. It is something that I have taken to easily and naturally. I also thoroughly enjoy the work. I love the process of designing the prints, which often contain many special and treasured memories. I feel privileged that someone has chosen me to commit theirs or another's memories and experiences to print. It feels as though I am piecing together a huge part of somebody's life. That is why I take great care and pride in what I do. I ensure that all of my customers receive a personal service from start to finish. I want everyone to receive a piece of artwork that will take pride of place in their home and create a talking point in any room.

One last thing - you may be wondering about how I came up with the name for my business, particlarly with the non conventional spelling of "Bea's".....Well, the eagle eyed of you will have noticed that my eldest daughter's middle name is Bea. My husband and I affectionately refer to our youngest daughter by the pet name of Clara "Cat". So there you have it! I have incorporated two of the most important people in my life into the name of my business.....
