A very important announcement!

STOP PRESS! We have some very exciting news!
The Bea's Knees has teamed up with the leading photographic print and artwork manufacturer in the UK! This incredible opportunity will now mean that we will be expanding our product range. We will still be meticulously and expertly designing all of our own prints but we will be able to produce them on a much wider choice of mediums. Along with canvas prints and mounted/framed fine art prints, we will also be able to include a finish on the following :

"Floating" acrylic wall panels
Free standing acrylic blocks
State of the art aluminium wall panels

Further down the line, there are even more options open to us and our customers, including coloured acrylic blocks and MDF block wall panels.

What's more is that as well as our standard sizes, we can offer a bespoke sizing service for canvases, acrylic and aluminium panels. If you want a particular size for a particular wall, let us know and we can pretty much give you what you want (design allowing).

This will involve a lot of time and effort in updating the range and our website so it will be done in stages. Our first new product to be introduced will be a floating acrylic panel.

Just as it sounds, they appear to float on the wall, as they simply hang from one keyhole fixing, and have no visible fixings on the front. They sit approximately 8mm proud of the wall. Your design will be printed on a high quality 271gsm satin paper which is then bonded to the back of a 5mm acrylic panel, using special media that gives images an amazing quality of finish. Bright, punchy colours and a clarity that can only be obtained by using this method of production.

All of these products will be manufactured using cutting edge technology and processes, using the very best, British supplied materials. As such, we can guarantee quality but at an affordable price. This will put us a step ahead of our main competitors in terms of choice, quality and price. We don't think you will get comparable products of such high quality and finish at this price point anywhere else!

A successful first year!

So, having established ourselves in February 2012, we have just completed our first full financial year. I am pleased to report that it was a good one! The business has bucked the trend for UK startups. Last year, 1 in 3 new businesses in the UK failed. Figures suggest that only 45% of new businesses made it past five years. However, at just over 12 months old, The Bea's Knees & The Cat's Whiskers has established itself as one of the country's leading forces in creating and producing personalised typographic artwork.

The last year has seen an ever increasing demand for our prints. Our revamped website has been very successful. We have also had lots of repeat orders and even more through recommendations.  I have also signed contracts with two of the biggest online luxury gift companies - whatialwayswanted.com and giftwrappedand gorgeous.co.uk. This means that our designs are also available through both of these companies. Our profits have been increasing month on month and I predict an even more successful 2013/14.
