A successful first year!

So, having established ourselves in February 2012, we have just completed our first full financial year. I am pleased to report that it was a good one! The business has bucked the trend for UK startups. Last year, 1 in 3 new businesses in the UK failed. Figures suggest that only 45% of new businesses made it past five years. However, at just over 12 months old, The Bea's Knees & The Cat's Whiskers has established itself as one of the country's leading forces in creating and producing personalised typographic artwork.

The last year has seen an ever increasing demand for our prints. Our revamped website has been very successful. We have also had lots of repeat orders and even more through recommendations.  I have also signed contracts with two of the biggest online luxury gift companies - whatialwayswanted.com and giftwrappedand gorgeous.co.uk. This means that our designs are also available through both of these companies. Our profits have been increasing month on month and I predict an even more successful 2013/14.
